Tucson-based indie/bluegrass street musicians The Dusty Buskers ("the band that fits on a bike") perform their version of the classic old-timey song "Sail Away Ladies." Featuring Fiddlin' Uncle Phoenix and Dusty Squirrelfisher, the band has become known for rearranging and updating traditional Americana and Celtic ballads and melodies. Today they play their modern-day folk music on sidewalks and in saloons across Southern Arizona and the Southwest. Video filmed and edited by Shade Videography.
Producer Luis Carrión talks to the members of Silver Thread Trio, and introduces us to their music as performed in the historic San Pedro Chapel. Audio engineer, Jim Blackwood recorded field audio and mixed this story. (HD)
